Dear All, below is a basic explanation of how our Academy works.

We have two tiers of weekly programs: the Intro/Intermediate and Core. We also have Day Camps.

Intro/Intermediate is where you start.  All equipment is provided. Monday and Friday evenings are separated by age and are $160/month for one one hour class a week.

Mondays:

5pm: Youth 5 to 8

6pm: Youth 8 to 11

7pm: 11-14 and Adults

Fridays:

5pm: Youth 5 to 8

6pm: Youth 8 to 11

7pm: 11-14 and Adults

The following are not separated by age, everyone gets introduced to the basics together, though we are careful about matching fencers appropriately. An 8 year old will never face an aggressive 14 year old. These classes are $120/month for one one hour class a week:

Saturdays:

10am: All Ages Intro

11am: All Ages Girls Only

Tuesday Wednesday Thursday mornings:

7am: All Ages Intro/Intermediate

You may continue to take the Intro/Intermediate classes as long as you like, but once you complete at least four Intro classes you are invited to the Core program. It is for fencers that know they like the sport and want to take it to a competitive level. They are more expensive because the classes are longer and our coaching team works together using 150+ collective years of experience at the National, International and Collegiate level. The reason the Core program is in the middle of the week is because we have competitions almost every weekend. Equipment is required for the Core program and it also includes private lessons. Goals are to learn how to learn, develop good habits, get used to tournaments, and potentially attend USA Nationals in early July.
Group B: Youth 11 to Adults, zero to four year experience. One to four days a week at CFA, 3 to 20 tournaments a year with some travel to Region 6 events.
Goals are the same as Group A with the addition of earning a USA Fencing Rating and climbing the Regional Point Standings to develop consistency.
