COVID-19 Update from Cardinal Fencing Academy

We thank each of you for being a part of our Cardinal Fencing Academy family! Our goal is to make coming to fencing a healthy and fun experience for everyone. We understand the concern surrounding COVID-19 across our communities. Please know we are working tirelessly to ensure we continue to provide a safe environment for our families and team.

We love the sport, and we are passionate about what we do. This means that every day, as part of our regular operations, we continue to exceed disinfection guidelines throughout our gym. Additionally, we have increased the frequency with which we are sanitizing common, shared surfaces to protect everyone.

We appreciate you helping us keep our gym healthy! As a community, we ask for your partnership and understanding with the following ways we can work together to minimize exposure:

- Please sanitize your hands when entering the gym.

- In an effort to minimize the spread of germs, you will notice we have changed some of our etiquette and warm up routines: we bump elbows or do a little dance instead of shaking hands and removed some ball games where contact with an object is shared frequently.

- We kindly ask that you reschedule your lesson if you are sick, have recently traveled via airlines/cruise, or have been exposed to anyone with a contagious illness. We will be flexible during this time with rescheduled or cancelled lessons due to these precautions. We will also plan to host some additional clinics at a later date should group classes be cancelled.

- Please minimize the number of people accompanying fencers to their practices to a guardian only when possible.

We remain open and are committed to being well-informed, providing excellent fencing, and maintaining an open line of communication. It is an honor and privilege to work with your family and we look forward to seeing you soon!
