It is an absolute pleasure to announce that Cardinal Fencing Academy won the Washington Parent Picks for Best Fencing Club in the DMV area! Thank you for taking the time to vote for us!
A big shout out to our team of Coaches Alex, Claire, Doug, Inaki and the Parent Boosters Cissy, Jamie and Jessica. We promise to continue our journey in the same direction and make sure CFA fencers have every reason to wear our emblem with pride.
Tournaments are coming up on the radar! The first CFA approved one is the December 19th weekend Fairfax Challenge.

At this point our policy is essentially that bigger venues with strong COVID safety protocols should be OK for a return to competition but small events at other clubs are still too much risk. Coach Doug and potentially myself are planning to go to the Fairfax Challenge. Please always let us know which events you plan to attend.
Our Beginners are doing great! We have a new class starting Mondays, 7pm on October 5th and new Saturday morning sessions starting November 7th. Registration here. If you are wondering what the next steps could be, your options are outlined here.
Also please remember to have at least the Non-Competitive USA Fencing membership. It provides insurance and is required to participate in any fencing activity at CFA, including the intro classes.
